My First Blog
Hey guys, Welcome to my blog. So i’m starting this blog for me as a way for me to track my fitness journey so that I can hold myself accountable and actually do something with my evenings that is beneficial. I’m not one of these people who is committed to doing things like this. I’d usually stick it out for a week or two and then it will stop…… I’m human, I work a 9-5 job and i’m usually tired after working for the day so the motivation to get up and exercise is hard to find. This journey started months ago when I first moved to my new town with a new job. I knew no-one here so I would go from work to going home and spend the evenings alone in my room, and yes I do have house mates but we don’t really see each other. It got lonely pretty fast, felt alone and felt like I had no-one who cared about me. I felt depressed and I think I was a little bit, I never went to the doctors to get diagnosed but I wasn’t myself and I knew something was up. I drowned the emotions in chocolate, sweets, crisps and takeaways. As a result I put on several pounds and reached the highest weight I’ve ever been. My weight gain made me even more upset with myself but I never did anything about it…..Until now. So this is my story of my journey of getting me back..physically and mentally and we’ll have fun along with way. So please follow along and we can do this together.
